Day 1 – Thursday / September 17, 2020 – DEPART CANADA
Meet your host at the Toronto airport for your Air Canada flight departure to Zurich, Switzerland. 

Day 2 – Friday / September 18, 2020 – ZURICH, SWITZERLAND                                                
Welcome to Zurich!   Meet our local guide upon arrival at the airport and transfer to the city for a short city tour with photo stop of city hall and the old town.  Discover the spectacular sights of Zurich on a comprehensive 2-hour coach tour of the vibrant Swiss city. Cruise past legendary landmarks like the sophisticated Bahnhofstrasse and admire the shimmering surface of Lake Zurich as you listen to illuminating commentary from a knowledgeable guide.  See the sacred St Peter’s Church and the charming Old Town and stop for a quick photo of the city hall and the old town.  Lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to the hotel for check-in.  Afternoon is free and dinner on your own. Day 3 – Saturday / September 19, 2020 – ZURICH, SWITZERLAND                                              
Breakfast at the hotel.  Depart by coach for a full day excursion to Schaffhausen/Stein am Rhein.  View the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen and free time for lunch on your own.  Sit back and relax on a comfortable coach while listening to your guide introduce Switzerland’s interesting history and culture.  The journey takes you through picturesque landscape with gently rolling vineyards and charming villages near the German border.  After a photo stop at the wonderful medieval Laufen Castle, arrive at the waterfall and enjoy approximately one-hour leisure time at the mighty Rhine Falls, one of Switzerland’s major attractions. Capture stunning photographs of the cataract, the fizzy waters of the basin below and the natural beauty of the surrounding area.  Continue to Schaffhausen with its famous Munot Fortress, passing through the beautiful countryside to the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. Your guide will tell you about the well-preserved town with its many distinctive buildings. Most of these half-timbered houses are made of stone with delicate wooden windows and exceptional frescoes.  The most prominent of these houses is the White Eagle, whose fresco counts as the oldest preserved mural painting of the Renaissance in Switzerland.  Transfer back in the afternoon to Zurich.  Dinner will be served at hotel.  (B/D)

Day 4 – Sunday / September 20, 2020 – ZURICH – LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND                         
Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out.  Depart by coach to Lucerne with free time for lunch en-route.   Upon arrival in Lucerne enjoy a panoramic city tour with view of Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge.  Explore the spectacular sights and cultural delights of Lucerne on a 2-hour walking tour with a local guide. Stroll the intimate tangle of alleyways in search of impressive monuments like Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and the ancient Jesuit Church. Gaze at the metropolitan Culture and Congress Center, the Lion Monument and delve into the rich historical heritage of the city by listening to entertaining commentary from your guide.  Transfer to the hotel for check-in.  Dinner will be at a local restaurant.   Accommodation: MONOPOL HOTEL or similar (2 nights). (B/D)

Day 5 – Monday / September 21, 2020 – LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND                                             
Breakfast at the hotel.   Meet your local guide and coach at hotel for full day excursion to Pilatus and visit Alpnachstad, Pilatus Kulm, and Kriens, with a one way 1st class ferry ride from Lucerne to Alpnachstad.  Your tour begins with a boat trip on Lake Lucerne and a view of the surrounding mountains.  The amazement continues.  In Alpnachstad you will board the steepest cogwheel railway in the world to reach the summit of 2,132 opportunities.  At 2,132 meters above sea level you will be received with the inimitable Pilatus warmth.  The breathtaking panorama and view of the Alpine massif and its mountain range do their part to make your stay unforgettable.  Lunch at Pilatus Kulm Restaurant You will glide down to Kriens on the aerial cableway Dragon Ride and on the Panorama gondolas.   Lunch at Pilatus Kulm Restaurant.  Transfer back to Lucerne with local guide and coach.  Dinner at a local restaurant. (B/L/D)

Day 6 – Tuesday / September 22, 2020 – LUCERNE – INTERLAKEN – ZERMATT                      
Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out.   Depart by coach to Interlaken.  Enjoy a panoramic tour of Interlaken with free time for lunch on your own.  As a vacation destination and convention location of international importance, Interlaken is an ideal starting point for countless excursions. Visit Interlaken downtown: the famous “Bahnhofstreet” with its incredible watch shops. Take some pictures of the snow covered, most famous “Jungfrau” mountain from the Höhematte. Listen to the legendary myth of the “Hardermannli”, a man in stone who is named after the house mountain of Interlaken. Get fascinated by the Casino Kursaal and it’s flower sun watch.   Continue transfer to Taesch, where you will board your one way train from Taesch to Zermatt.  Luggage will be transferred separately from Taesch to the hotel in Zermatt.   Upon arrival in Zermatt train station, meet electric taxi transfer to hotel for check-in.  Dinner will be served at the hotel tonight.   Accommodation: SCHWEIZERHOF HOTEL or similar (2 nights). (B/D)

Day 7 – Wednesday / September 23, 2020 – ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND                                            
Breakfast at the hotel.  Enjoy a half day excursion to Gornergrat.  Meet your guide and take the cogwheel train from Zermatt to the Gornergrat. The ride takes about half an hour.  It starts at an altitude of 1605 m and ends at 3090 m on the Gornergrat ridge.  The train crosses forests and a high alpine landscape later on stops in four different stations along the way.  Each of these stations is a great starting point for hiking.  Once you reach the Gornergrat, you will have an amazing view of the Matterhorn and the Monte Rosa massif.  This includes the Dufourspitze (4634 metres), which is the highest peak in Switzerland.  There is a hotel, a restaurant, and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the scenery.  Lunch on your own and afternoon free at your leisure.  Dinner will be at a local restaurant. (B/D)

Day 8 – Thursday / September 24, 2020 – ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND – MILAN, ITALY            
Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out.  Meet electric taxi transfer from hotel to Zermatt train station to board your one way train from Zermatt to Taesch.  Luggage will be transferred separately from hotel in Zermatt to Taesch train station.  Meet your coach in Taesch and transfer to Milan with free time for your lunch on own en-route.  Upon arrival in Milan, enjoy a guided panoramic city tour.  See the sights as your guide helps you get immersed in the cultural, historical, and social life of this enchanting city.  This amazing city boasts a dazzling concentration of world-class architecture, museums, piazzas, parks and monuments. Centre of fashion and business, Milan also has a wealth of impressive sights reflecting its long and checkered history.  With artistic achievements spanning from the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Neo-Classic to Art Nouveau, it shares an elegant mood adding a dash of its own savoir-faire.  After the tour, transfer to the hotel for check-in.  Tonight, dinner at a local restaurant near the hotel. Day 9 – Friday / September 25, 2020 – MILAN – VERONA – VENICE, ITALY                           
Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out.  Depart to Venice with a stop in Verona for a visit to this fascinating city, famous for the Juliet & Romeo love story and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  Visit the Arena, the ancient amphitheatre built by the Romans (outside) and then walk through its city centre to see Juliet’s balcony and the Piazza delle Erbe.  After free time for lunch on your own, you’ll proceed on our journey to Venice.  This evening, enjoy dinner at hotel or in a restaurant nearby the hotel.    Accommodation: HOTEL MONACO or similar (2 nights). (B/D)

Day 10 – Saturday / September 26, 2020 – VENICE, ITALY                                                                 
Breakfast at the hotel.  Enjoy a guided walking tour of Venice.  Visit the landmarks and historical sites of the city centre (exteriors only): St. Mark’s Square and its monuments, S. Maria Formosa, the Church and Campo of S.S. Giovannie Paolo, Marco Polo’s house, Teatro Malibran, and the famous Mercerie.  Free time for lunch on your own.  In the afternoon you you will be taken to the embarkation point for your 30 minute gondola ride.  Take a gondola ride along the most suggestive canals of Venice and part of the Grand Canal to discover its charming aspects.  In the evening, dinner will be at a local restaurant nearby the hotel.  (B/D)

Day 11 – Sunday / September 27, 2020 – VENICE – EMBARKATION                                             
Breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out.  Enjoy a half-day excursion by boat to the Lagoon to visit the islands of Murano and Burano.  It is a unique experience which will lead you to the historic, artistic and popular heart of the northern part of the Venetian Lagoon.  From the boat you can take some breathtaking photos of the Lagoon and its several islands.  You will visit MURANO and BURANO which are the traditional destinations among the islands.  Return to Venice Island and then transfer to the pier to embark on you cruise aboard the Norwegian Dawn, your home away from home for next 8 days while exploring the beautiful Adriatic coast and the Greek Isles. (B/D)

Day 12 – Monday / September 28, 2020 – KOTOR, MONTENEGRO                                             
Tucked away between the mountains and the Bay of Kotor, one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea, is where you’ll find the picturesque town of Kotor. As you arrive at this secluded city, you’ll notice the dramatic 65-foot high protective walls, which date back to the Venetian period during the 9th century. Stroll the labyrinth of cobbled streets with cozy cafes and craft shops as you marvel at the graceful old buildings. Listed as a UNESCO World Natural and Historical Heritage Site, Kotor is also world-famous as a premier yachting and sailing destination. (B/L/D)

Day 13 – Tuesday / September 29, 2020 – CORFU, GREECE                                                               
One of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island’s secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles.  (B/L/D)

Day 14 – Wednesday / September 30, 2020 – SANTORINI, GREECE                                                     
Whitewashed villages clinging to the sides of the sea cliffs have made the volcanic island of Santorini one of the most widely photographed places in the world. The island’s charm and subtle mystery have even made it a target of speculation as the location of the lost city of Atlantis. (B/L/D)

Day 15 – Thursday / October 1, 2020 – MYKONOS, GREECE                                                      
Mykonos is a classic Greek Island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and windmills.  Add a reputation for beautiful beaches and you’ll understand why Mykonos is the most popular island in the Cyclades.  Explore the island in a 4 x 4 or take a ferry to the tiny island of Delos. (B/L/D)

Day 16 – Friday / October 2, 2020 – ARGOSTOLI, KEFALONIA, GREECE                           
Looking at picturesque Argostoli, you wouldn’t know it suffered a devastating earthquake in 1953. The city and its surrounding area are full of treasures, including a 12th-century Byzantine cathedral and beautiful 16th century frescoes. The nearby underground Lake of Melissani is simply magical.  Enter the caves to find ancient stalactites, and marvel at the scattered rays of light beaming through, turning the water an intense blue.  (B/L/D)

Day 17 – Saturday / October 3, 2020 – DUBROVNIK, CROATIA                                                 
Despite the magnificent 13th century walls that surround the city, Dubrovnik is one of the most welcoming cruise destinations in all of Europe. Dubbed “the pearl of the Adriatic” by the poet, Lord Byron, this Croatian city exudes romantic charm and beautiful scenery with its shimmering marble streets, centuries-old buildings capped by bright orange roofs, and lovely beaches ensconced between awesome rocky ledges. (B/L/D)

Day 18 – Sunday – October 4, 2020 – VENICE – DISEMBARKATION – CANADA
