Day 1 — Sunday, August 25, 2019CANADA – SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA Board your flight bound for Saint Petersburg.
Day 2 — Monday, August 26ARRIVE IN SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA – EMBARKATIONWelcome to Saint Petersburg! Upon arrival to the ship, check‐in and explore your first class floating hotel. Prior to dinner, meet your fellow passengers and Cruise Staff for a cocktail, crew introduction followed by an information meeting. Then enjoy your first dinner on board. Day 3 - Tuesday, August 27SAINT PETERBURG, RUSSIAEnjoy the extravagant baroque architecture of the city center, Nevsky Prospect, Palace Square and Smolny Convent. In the afternoon, you will join Pushkin tour. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Wednesday, August 28SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIAThis morning, you will visit the many wonders of the elegant Winter Palace, which today houses the Hermitage Museum, one of the largest art and cultural museums in the world. This evening you leave St. Petersburg for the start of your cruise. (B/L/D)
Day 5 – Thursday, August 29RIVER VILLAGEArrival at the river village. This is a recreational stop, specially designed for you to enjoy the relaxing rustic atmosphere and famous Russian cuisine and hospitality. Captain’s cocktail followed by welcome dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 6 – Friday, August 30KIZHI, RUSSIAArrive at the island of Kizhi – an architectural gem within Lake Onega. The island is famous for its wonderful collection of 18th-century wooden buildings, restored to their original state. The highlight of Kizhi is the amazing Church of the Transfiguration, with its 22 onion domes; this magnificent structure was built entirely without a single nail. (B/L/D)
Day 7 – Saturday, August 31GORITSY, RUSSIAVisit Cyrilo-Belozersky Monastery, which has six centuries of glorious history, home to the most exquisite icon collection in the world. (B/L/D)
Day 8 – Sunday, September 1YAROSLAVL, RUSSIAAfter breakfast today, tour Yaroslavl, founded in the 11th century by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. The city tour includes the 16th-century Monastery of the Transfiguration and Church of Elijah the Prophet. (B/L/D)
Day 9 – Monday, September 2UGLIH, RUSSIA Take a walking tour of this lovely 10th-century town – one of Russia's most ancient. Visit the Kremlin, with its 16th-century Church of the Transfiguration, and Dmitry Blood’s Church. Explore the Flea Market. Enjoy your farewell dinner on the last day of cruising. (B/L/D)
Day 10 – Tuesday, September 3MOSCOW, RUSSIA Arrival in Moscow. Sightseeing motor coach tour of this ancient Russian capital, including Tverskaya Street, Red Square, St. Basil's Cathedral, Bolshoi Theater and Moscow State University for a panoramic view of the city. (B/L/D)
Day 11 – Wednesday, September 4MOSCOW, RUSSIA Morning tour of the Kremlin: Originally a fortress, it comprises beautiful cathedrals, ornate palaces, and government buildings. This afternoon free time to explore Moscow on your own. Whatever your interest, our local hosts ease your way by making all arrangements for tours, theater, ballet or opera tickets. Day 12 – Thursday, September 5MOSCOW, RUSSIA - CANADA Time to bid farewell to your new friends after the unforgettable journey through this fascinating land. Disembarkation. Transfer to the airport for your home bound flight. (B)

MS Tikhi Don is a very well maintained ship of project 301 launched in 1977. In 2005 she has undergone thorough refurbishment and obtained elevator, better arrangements of internal premises and Western decor with portraits of Russian tsars and famous nobles of Russian Empire. The ship has undergone complete general reconstruction to meet the demands and requirements particularly of the North American market. All cabins are furnished identically in a very nice traditional style. In all cabins there is one 120V and one 220V electrical outlets, as well as 110V/230V switchable outlet in bathrooms. Outside promenade walkways, spacious outer decks with cozy sitting areas all these together with conveniently arranged internal premises make her really a great choice for Russian river cruising.
